There is something quite relaxing about sitting and eating a bowl of shelled nuts. The rhythmic action and pace of cracking each nut before you eat it bring a soothing repetition. However exploding shells and the sharp bite on your hands can spoil the effect. PEJ set out to solve this with a circular nutcracker that makes even tough shells easy to crack. The central lever turns to pin the nut against the sidewall, increasing pressure till it cracks. The black rubber edge helps keep the shards from escaping.
