Ugh! This morning I woke with a severe case of lurgy. Rather than face the day, I'd much rather curl up in bed with a warm fluffy duvet, but lunch won't make itself. I recently took a survey that described Emma Bridgewater's tableware as 'ironic rustic'. I wasn't convinced at the time, but I think it's a fabulous description for the Bridgewater AGA. I'll admit that I've been waffling on this one for a few weeks; I can't decide if the idea is brilliant or pointless. The most common complaint with other eco-kettles is that they simply don't get hot enough to make tea. Rather than actually boil the water they just make it very hot, which is fine for coffee but spoils the taste of tea. Morphy Richards has solved this problem with an eco switch. Since we finally found a toaster we liked, we decided to go with the matching kettle. We opted for the plain black rather than steel finish, as many steel appliances show finger prints so clearly. When it comes to choosing a toaster, there are an awful lot to choose from, but I was frequently disappointed by the customer reviews I found on line.
